The CoHaV organization was established at the height of the 2nd intifada by the late Candy Shinaar in March 2003. At the time, the name CoHaV was selected to reflect the connection with a wide network of grassroots Israel advocacy groups. Today, this is a very loose coalition of a myriad number of advocacy groups, organizations, campaigns etc. each with its own singular message and delivery. We choose to continue to use the name out of respect for Candy and her legacy.

Our Vision: This website was created to reach out to visitors in both Israel and abroad to provide the resources supporters of Israel might lack to refute the fabrications, the ignorance, the unabashed brainwashing. We're also happy to publish good news because Israel, at 78, has plenty of that too.

 

We will showcase:

• Newspaper articles from the English-speaking world to keep you up-to-date

• Diverse opinions (in Israel, every citizen has an opinion)

• Videos that tell a story

• Podcasts and interviews with people who have something interesting to say

• Resources where you can verify information
